- Clare Keizer retires after 18 years as CEO of Searchlight Newspaper
- Keizer steps down as CEO of Interactive Media Limited
Interactive Media Limited has announced the resignation of CEO Clare Keizer, who will leave the company at the end of this month.
Keizer, who is also the editor of the company’s flagship publications, Midweek SEARCHLIGHT and Weekend SEARCHLIGHT, said the decision to step away from the day-to-day operations was a difficult one. She believes it is the right time for both the company and her to embrace new opportunities.
Under her leadership, SEARCHLIGHT experienced growth and expanded its reach and influence. She has been instrumental in spearheading the newspaper’s foray into ‘new media’, ensuring its continued growth and relevance in an ever-evolving media landscape.
Keizer is proud of the accomplishments of a small group of Vincentians over the last 29 years, with no other news source having firmer footprints in both printed and digital formats in St Vincent and the Grenadines. She is also proud of the establishment of a multimedia unit in 2022, which has made steady progress.
Keizer will remain a member of the board of directors, with veteran journalist Corletha Ollivierre taking the role of interim editor.
