Police have arrested and charged Kimron Neverson, a 24-year-old Labourer of Redemption Sharpes with the offence of Murder on 18.03.2020.
According to the investigation, the accused with malice aforethought caused the death of Edward Alexis, 28 years old Farmer of Redemption Sharpes by allegedly shooting him in his head with a gun. The incident occurred at Trigger Ridge, Redemption Sharpes on 15.03.2020.
Alexis’ death marks the 6th murder recorded in St. Vincent and the Grenadines for the year 2020.
Neverson appeared before the Serious Offences Court for arraignment and was remanded into custody at Her Majesty’s Prison. The matter was adjourned to 18.6.2020.
