While the Christian world celebrated by going to church what some caption Easter or Passover, the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ as a ransomed for the sins of the human race.
The Kingstown Seventh-day Adventist Church chose to demonstrate their gratitude by following the spirit of generosity in ministering to the less fortunate in St Vincent and the Grenadines.
On Thursday the 18th April 2019, the Kingstown SDA Church opened its doors to hundreds of Vincentians from communities across the nation as they gathered to receive the annual food basket and clothing supply.
Before the distribution, there was a short service conducted as a means of providing spiritual food and encouragement for many that were troubled and discouraged.
Pastor Brent St Jean was the minister chosen to deliver the Sermonette for the service. Pastor St Jean built his message on Psalm 46:1, reminding the congregation that “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
He added, that even through the test they are confronting right now, they should not feel alone because God promises to be there for whosoever will come to Him. Their test at the end would only bring a testimony that God is great.
