Police here in St Vincent have arrested and charged a Layou resident for unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor.

Credible sources informed News784 that Andrew Gary Stewart of Layou is due to appear in court on Monday 14th May 2018.

Reports also indicated that the communication between the young girl and the Stewart apparently began through the social media platform Facebook.

Stewart is a known political activist for the St Vincent and the Grenadines Opposition Party.
