The representative for Central Kingstown Major St Clair Leacock recommitted to the NDP in parliament on Thursday.
This was done so through a series of handshakes both with Opposition Members and the Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves.
Political pundits were hoping for the major fallout that did not materialize. Leacock spoke about his many contributions to civil society and the politics of the nation.
But while many were waiting for a fallout, Leacock said while speaking to his mother over the weekend she reminded him, that material things are not all to life, but integrity and principal are the hallmarks of a true winner.
