Man chopped at bus stop, 20-year-old steals 8 animals

On 22.4.22, police arrested and charged Bertram Joseph, a 59-year-old Unemployed of Edinboro with the offence of Wounding.

According to the investigations, the Accused allegedly unlawfully and maliciously wounded a 46 years old Freelancer of Largo Height by chopping him on his head with a (chiney chopper knife). The incident occurred at Little Tokyo, Kingstown at about 5:40 pm on 22.4.22.

The Accused is expected to appear before the Kingstown Magistrate Court to answer the charge.

Meanwhile

On 22.4.22, police arrested and charged Romano Jacobs, a 20-year-old Labourer of Lowmans Windward with four counts of Handling Stolen Goods.

According to investigations, the Accused was allegedly met with the carcasses of two (2) cattle, four (4) goats, and two (2) sheep, all reasonably suspected of being stolen or unlawfully obtained. The incidents occurred between 15.10.2017 and 18.11.21 at Gibson Corner.

Jacobs is expected to appear before the Kingstown Magistrate Court to answer the charges.
