CONSTRUCTION WORKER CHARGED WITH WOUNDING
On September 28, 2026, police arrested and charged Dennis Brown, a 44-year-old construction worker of Villa, with the offence of wounding.
Investigations revealed that on September 27, 2026, the accused allegedly unlawfully and maliciously wounded a 63-year-old farmer, also of Villa, by striking him in the head with a glass bottle in Fountain.
Brown appeared before the Calliaqua Magistrate’s Court on September 28, 2026, where he pleaded not guilty to the charge. He was granted bail in the sum of EC$1,500.00 with one surety.
The matter was adjourned to October 20, 2026.
