A young man from the Chester Cottage area is now hospitalised after being shot last evening, Thursday 6th March 2017.
Istah Mack a 34yr old Labourer of Chester Cottage was met with gunshot wounds to the left side of his lower back and also to the left side of his chest.
A family member told News784 that Mack was on his way home when the incident occurred.
He was taken to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital where he is now a patient, the incident occurred at about 10 pm on Thursday evening.
Police are carrying out investigations.
