Atiba Jacobs a 24 years old unemployed from the community of Lowmans Windward has been denied the opportunity of celebrating the Christmas season with friends and relatives this year.

This came on Monday of this week after a fifteen months jail term was handed down upon him by Chief Magistrate Rechanne Browne when he appeared at the Serious Offences Court and entered a plea of guilty on a charge of possession of 92gms of cocaine on November 16th, 2017.

Jacobs was reportedly intercepted by police who were on duty at the Grenadines Wharf and were conduction routine checks on persons travelling to the Grenadine Islands.

The controlled drug was discovered in his pants crutch on the date in question.
