Man shot in capital city Kingstown

News784 was informed of a shooting in capital city Kingstown on Tuesday morning.

According to information the victim a resident of Murray’s Village was shot sometime around 10.30 am.

Individuals who were in the vicinity at the time of the shooting told News784 that they saw a man wearing sunglasses, holding an umbrella and who appeared to have braided hair coming towards George.

They told News784 shortly afterwards four shots were fired following which the individual left the scene and made his way towards the  Bank Of SVG.

The shooting took place in the vicinity of PH Veria and Bonadie Supermarkets.

The victim has been identified as Lionel George, he was rushed to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.
