Ahkino Rhynd, the 32-year-old Labourer of Canouan, was arrested and charged for Gross Indecency and Indecent Assault on a 5 year minor on Friday 18th May 2018.
Rhynd appeared before the Family Court on Tuesday 22nd May 2018 and plead guilty to the charges.
He was sentenced to serve six (6) months for the charge of Gross Indecency and eighteen (18) months for the charge of indecent assault.
The sentences are to run concurrently.
