- Officials in Martinique rescue two boaters and search for three others after boat capsizes
Authorities on Martinique, a French Caribbean island, say two persons have been rescued and three more are missing after their boat sank.
The Antilles-Guyana Regional Operational Surveillance and Rescue Centre reports that the search is centred on Galleon Bay, off Martinique’s east coast.
According to local media, fisherman rescued the two on Thursday, and one of them remains in the hospital. They have not been identified.
