Mass Of Saharan Dust Reducing Visibility And Air Quality Across SVG

1 Min Read

A mass of Saharan dust with varying intensity is reducing visibility and air quality across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) with moderate haze.

Hazy conditions are expected to thin-out during Wednesday, but dry conditions could continue over the next few days, with slim chance for brief showers.

Moderate (20 – 30 km/h) easterly breeze across SVG could vary between east north-east and east south-east, temporarily peaking near 35 km/h Wednesday night.

Sea conditions are slight (0.5 – 1.2 m) on west coasts and slight to moderate (1.2 – 2.0 m) on east coasts of our islands, with northerly swells. Swells should be originating from the north-east during Thursday.
