Mechanic Charged with Theft
On December 7, 2025, police arrested and charged Darion James, an 18-year-old Mechanic of Stubbs, with the offence of Theft.
According to investigations, the accused stole one (1) white and grey Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra cell phone valued at $3,500.00 ECC, one (1) black phone case valued at $10.00 USD and $20.00USD in cash – total value being $3,500.00 ECC, $10.00 USD and $20.00USD in cash – the property of a 23-year-old Aviation Officer/ Ramp Agent of Diamond.
The offence was committed in Prospect on November 28, 2025. James appeared before the Family Court on December 8, 2025, and pleaded guilty to the charge.
He was granted bail in the sum of $1,500.00 ECC with one surety. The matter was adjourned and transferred to the Calliaqua Magistrate Court for January 5, 2026.
