The multi-talented Melisizwe Brothers Marc 15 yrs old, Seth 12 yrs old and Zacary 11yrs old have gone from YouTube to the Ellen DeGeneres Show and New York City, to Lead singers on Netflix Series Motown Magic, and are set to perform in St. Vincent and The Grenadines on Saturday, February 2nd, 2019.
The Brothers Marc, Seth and Zacary who hails from Leduc Alberta, Canada lived in St. Vincent for one year. In 2015 the two younger brothers Seth and Zacary attended the Peter’s Ville Primary School and the older brother Marc attended St. Martins Secondary School.
Their Mother and Father are both Vincentians Born (Mark and Sherry James from Fair Hall). The brothers shot to fame after their popular video of the song I’ll be there (by the Jackson 5) gained over 60 Million views worldwide with a huge concentration in Brazil South America, the united states, Europe, and Africa.
They have been musical guests on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, Winners of Show time at the Apollo, The Steve Show, Little Big Shots UK, New Year’s Eve celebrations in Times Square. Guest performers on America Got Talent season 13, and most recently, Zacary James of The Melisizwe Brothers, lead vocals on the upcoming Netflix Series Motown Magic.
The Brothers are Unique in that Zacary, the youngest who is 11yrs old , is the leader of the band vocally and musically displaying amazing capabilities and have been compared to the likes of Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder all three brothers play multiple instruments at a very high level their musical journey started at around four years of age at the Leduc School of Music where they were identified for their giftedness , they were immediately fast tracked into various music programs studying piano and singing and then adding other instruments of interest.
The Melisizwe Brothers perform a variety of music, both contemporary as well as older music, most notably the Motown hits of music giants like Stevie Wonder and the Jackson Five.
They also write their own music and collaborate with other musicians in the music industry, when they are not travelling around the world.
The Melisizwe Brothers are performing at The Russell Auditorium, on Saturday February 2nd at 7:00 p.m.
