Met Office: 2 inches of rain forecast for SVG

1 Min Read
Some scattered showers are forecast for the remainder of the weekend as instability continues to move across the island chain.
This instability is associated with a low to mid level trough as it inches closer towards the island chain, affecting mostly the northern islands.
As time progress, upper level is forecast to support enhancement at lower levels, and some light to moderate showers late tonight into Sunday is forecast for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, with model guidance indicating approximately 2 inches of rainfall by Sunday night.
In addition, as instability dominates the weather pattern, a decrease in wind speeds will occur and consequently there will be an improvement in sea conditions with swells peaking to 2.5m (moderate) on the eastern coast.
