The Ministry of Foreign Affairs officially concluded its 2026 School Visit Programme on Friday, May 29, 2026. After a four-year hiatus, the educational initiative resumed in May 2026 and successfully engaged 524 students over the course of one month.
The School Visit Programme is part of the Ministry’s ongoing commitment to public outreach and education. The primary goal of the initiative is to generate student interest in the Ministry’s work while fostering a greater understanding of its roles, responsibilities, and vital contributions to national development.
In total, 21 different institutions participated in the revived program. The wide-reaching initiative included schools such as Bishop’s College Kingstown, West St. George Secondary School, Troumaca Secondary School, Dr. J.P. Eustace Memorial Secondary School, and multiple divisions of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College (SVGCC), among several others across the islands.
Following the successful run, the Ministry extended its sincere appreciation to all the participating schools for their support, active engagement, and cooperation throughout the various presentations.
