More Rain To Affect The Island

Vincentians can expect more rain into the evening and night hours, as weak and unstable conditions continue to affect the island.

Citizens have been experiencing intermittent to heavy showers in some parts of the island from around 2PM today.

The night calls for more rain as a tropical wave moves into the area. The forecast calls for skies to be partly cloudy to occasionally cloudy, with some showers and possible isolated thunderstorms.

There are currently two tropical disturbances in the Atlantic, Tropical Storm Karl 1303 miles east of the Leeward Islands and a broad surface low located just off the coast of Africa.

The Atlantic Hurricane season runs from June 1st to November 30th, 2016.
