Hotel development at Mt Wynne/ Peters Hope has not stalled, this according to a source close to the project.
There have been rumours circulating that since the clearing of the land designated for development no construction has begun.
The source indicated to News784 that the developers would not directly be constructing the resort, instead, in an effort to create employment they would be subcontracting the work to various local contractors.
The source also indicated to News784 that tenders are currently out for the project, with the deadline for submissions being may 30th.
News784 have also learnt that two hotel developers have expressed an interest in the closed Buccament Bay Resort.
They are the Melia Hotel Group and a Malaysian investor, the source, however, noted that both investors are waiting on court matters to wind up.
