A new digital platform is preparing to give visitors and residents a more accessible way to discover the businesses, experiences, services and places that make St. Vincent and the Grenadines unique.
The Vincy List — www.thevincylist.com — is an online business and tourism directory designed to connect people with restaurants, bars, hotels, attractions, tours, entertainment, shopping, services and other local businesses throughout the country.
The platform addresses a simple but important challenge for visitors: knowing where to go and what is available.
Travelers can arrive in St. Vincent with limited knowledge of the communities outside their accommodation. They may not know which restaurants are open, what is happening that evening, where locals shop, which attractions are worth visiting, or how to find the less-publicized experiences that can make a trip memorable.
For some visitors, particularly those unfamiliar with the island or hesitant to venture out alone, that lack of information can mean spending more time in their room than exploring the destination.
The Vincy List was developed to help change that.
By bringing local businesses and experiences into one online destination, the platform gives visitors another way to discover what is around them and gives smaller businesses another digital avenue to reach potential customers.
The initiative will also extend beyond the website through paperback directory listings planned for distribution at Argyle airport, giving arriving visitors a physical resource for discovering places to eat, shop, visit and experience.
The launch comes amid renewed attention to private-sector growth and economic activity. Prime Minister Dr. Godwin Friday recently reported that current revenue declined from EC$324.38 million to approximately EC$290.11 million for April through July 2026. In this environment, increasing awareness of local businesses and encouraging visitor spending can create additional opportunities across tourism, hospitality, retail, transportation and services.
The Vincy List also aligns with opportunities identified within the country’s tourism and hospitality and Information Technology and Telecommunications sectors by using digital technology to address a traditional tourism challenge: access to information.
The platform will also work in alliance with VincyCar (vincycar.com), a developing Vincentian rideshare and transportation application currently preparing for an October 1 launch and seeking tester drivers in the Arnos Vale and Kingstown areas.
Together, the initiatives represent a simple concept: discover more places, find more local businesses and experience more of St. Vincent.
The Vincy List is currently expanding its directory and welcomes local businesses interested in being featured.
