(NYPOST) – New Jersey officials are probing whether rough sex or a drug overdose claimed the life of a young woman who died during a raunchy romp in a car with a man she’d just left a party with at a Hackensack high-rise, a report said.
The woman, 19, was found dead early Saturday in a car at a parking garage alongside the 18-story building, officials said; her name was not immediately released.
Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella termed it “a suspicious death.”
An autopsy of the woman, who is from the adjacent town of Maywood, is being performed to determine if she overdosed or died as a result of rough sex, a law-enforcement source told the Hackensack Daily Voice.
Police received a 911 call reporting the death at 2:14 a.m. Saturday, prosecutors said in a statement.
The caller directed police to a detached parking garage at 140 Prospect Ave., a luxury high-rise apartment complex.
The woman had attended a loud, raucous Halloween party on the 14th floor on Friday night, according to a neighbour who asked not to be named.
The party was so loud that the doorman was summoned at one point, the neighbour said.
The woman left the party with a man in his 20, the Daily Voice reported, citing a law-enforcement source.
