The western villages of Marriaqua are about to get their own playing field at Evesham, this according to representative Jimmy Prince.
Prince says Government has purchased 1.6 acres of land at Evesham for the purpose.
He says the grading of the land will begin soon, he said that negotiations took nearly two years to conclude.
“This was one promise made to the people of the area am delighted that we were able to realize it”.
The playing field is expected to benefit the residents of Evesham, Riley, kelbourney, Carriere and Collins.
