While the spotlight on Thursday was on Andrew Williams, the NLA’s press conference also offered a broader perspective on the lottery’s role in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

The organization’s revenue is record-breaking, surpassing $98 million in the last financial year, and those funds support much more than just prize payouts.

General Manager Sealey highlighted that a significant portion of the lottery’s income is distributed to key national development areas. The NLA actively funds:

• Sports and cultural disciplines

• Education, supporting over 4,000 students across the nation’s secondary schools and at the community college

• Carnival
