A search is underway for Elizabeth Wadell, who has gone missing while vacationing in Grenada. Wadell was reportedly on a trip with a close friend when she disappeared after what is believed to have been a swim in the ocean.
According to Romano Harmon, a close friend of the missing woman, Wadell was last seen in a bikini with a towel. While investigators managed to locate her towel on a pier, no other physical trace of Wadell has been found.
Surveillance footage has provided some insight into her final known moments. Harmon stated that the video shows Wadell in the water, but she eventually floats out of view, marking the last time anyone had “eyes on her”.
The search efforts have been extensive, involving the Coast Guard and divers who have been deployed for several days. Despite these efforts, authorities have not yet been able to find her, and the circumstances of what happened remain unknown.
Friends and loved ones are holding onto hope during the ongoing investigation. “I really still want there to be a happy ending to this,” Harmon said regarding the search for her friend.
