Trinidad and Tobago will send two officials to participate as part of the CARICOM Elections Observations Mission (CEOM) in St Vincent and the Grenadines’ general election.

Vincentians will go to the polls on November 5.

The T&T government as a CARICOM member was invited by the CARICOM Secretariat to participate as an observer.

T&T’s Cabinet selected Major General (Retired) Edmund Dillon and former Chief of Elections Officer of the Elections and Boundaries Commission (EBC) Ramesh Nanan.

All costs for CEOMs will be covered by CARICOM Member States’ contributions to CARICOM, for the duration of the mission from October 29 to November 7, 2020.
