Old Montrose Man Charged With Wounding And Theft

Police have arrested and charged Jamel Douglas, 31 years old unemployed of Old Montrose with Wounding and Theft on 06.02.19.

Douglas allegedly wounded a 52-year-old Police Officer, by striking him in his face with an unknown object (ii) for the theft of one (1) black Alcatel cellular phone and fifty dollars ($50.00) in cash, the property of the 52 year old Police Officer about 9:45pm on 05.02.19 at Stoney Grounds, Kingstown.

Douglas was also arrested and charged for assaulting a 19-year-old Bank Teller of Green Hill by striking him on his forehead with a piece of concrete block at Bentick Square, Kingstown about 5:45 pm on 05.02.19
