Ollivierre calls for improvement of primary education

Parliamentary representative for the Southern Grenadines Terrance Ollivierre – is calling for an improvement of education in St. Vincent and the Grenadines at the Primary level.

Speaking in Parliament on Wednesday, Mr. Ollivierre said in order for Secondary School Students to achieve more, in subject areas such as Math and English, there needs to be a re-engineering of the School’s curriculum in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

In reference to the point made by Terrance Ollivierre Education Minister, St. Clair Prince said the Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines will continue to place major emphasis on education, as part of its sustainable development plan.

Making his contribution in Parliament on Wednesday, Minister Prince said education is crucial, towards meeting the developmental needs of the country.

He also noted that efforts are being made, to ensure that the education system remains relevant.
