Several injured after minivan snaps brakes downhill

An accident involving a lone minivan left several people with nursing injuries after the driver averted multiple losses of life on Friday.

The minivan (Parks), which plies the Carriere-Kingstown route, according to information, had a brake system failure while travelling downhill in the Gomea community.

It is reported that the driver banked the omnibus into several parked vehicles, thus avoiding an embankment.

Police have not yet released details on the accident.
