Over 245 cruise ship workers from St Vincent and the Grenadines are currently on various cruise lines waiting to return home.
This was announced by Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves at a special sitting of Parliament on Tuesday 7th April, 2020.
Gonsalves said a clear policy position of the Gov’t along with an appropriate medical health protocol is in place for such a situation.
Gonsalves said firstly the country will never close its borders in principal to its citizens, however, these nationals must be tested before entering their homeland.
