The Roads, Buildings and General Services Authority (BRAGSA) has commenced repair work on the Canouan Airport runway.
The work which started on Monday, October 12, 2020, will see the repair of 7,839 square feet of the runway.
This will be done in the form of Asphalt and Perma patching. In addition to the repairs, BRAGSA conducted soil testing.
The project, spearheaded by the Ministry of Transport and Works, and the Argyle International Airport (AIA) is being done at a cost of $610, 000 dollars.
It is scheduled to be completed on Saturday, October 17, 2020.
