- UPDATE Charges laid in Park Hill Incident
The Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) has made a significant breakthrough in the investigation of a grave incident reported in the Park Hill area. Following the discovery of two partially burned bodies near the Park Hill Playing Field on April 8, 2024.
Aldon Thomas, a resident of Park Hill, has been arrested and formally charged with the murders of Brenton Barker and Kelvert Smart. The alleged offenses occurred between April 6 and April 9, 2024, within the second magisterial district of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
It is claimed that Thomas, with malice aforethought, unlawfully caused the deaths of Mr. Barker and Mr. Smart by an unlawful act, contravening Chapter 171, Section 159, subsection 1 of the revised edition of the laws of SVG, 2009.
Thomas is expected to appear before the Serious Offences Court today to face these charges. A post-mortem examination is also scheduled to be carried out on the bodies of the deceased today April 11, 2024 to ascertain the cause of death.
