Petit Nevis, the Grenadines

Just off the fashionable island of Bequia and seven nautical miles from ultra-exclusive Mustique, Petit Nevis offers one of the most exciting development opportunities in St Vincent and the Grenadines. Government incentives are in place to help a new owner build a private home or even a boutique resort at the heart of this pristine island chain.

The 28-hectare island, covered in sea grape trees and coconut palms, has a strong maritime heritage. A whaling station was established here in 1886 and remained as a working site until 1993; it has since become a popular anchorage with yachts thanks to its protected natural harbour.

Neighbouring Bequia’s facilities include an airport and a ferry service to Kingstown, capital of St Vincent. It is also surrounded by some of the Caribbean’s premium holiday hotspots.

As well as Mustique, where regular visitors include the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Kate Moss, Canouan is home to the first Mandarin Oriental in the Caribbean and a new 120-slip superyacht marina.

It is also within easy striking distance of world-class diving sites, including Anchor Reef and the Tobago Cays.

Petit Nevis is listed for sale with Sotheby’s International Realty for approx ECD$67.5 million.
