CCTV footage on the day of an alleged incident reported by a US Peace Court Volunteer to local police is not in sync.
This is the view of Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves as he spoke on the alleged matter on Monday 3rd September 2018.
The police are still conducting investigations, two persons from the US Embassy in Barbados came to the island to work along with the police, the police have made available to them CCTV footage from a nearby building.
Gonsalves said he has been advised that the footage shows among many things what appears to be a bag being placed by the volunteer on a table in the very spot from which the bag was later retrieved, there is no evidence on the CCTV footage of the alleged incident itself.
A sketch artist impression of the individuals has been made available to the police courtesy the officials from the US embassy.
They have circulated to the public to aid in the investigations.
