Police have arrested and charged Kevin Richards, a 25-year old Labourer of Villa with the offence of wounding.
According to investigations, the accused allegedly unlawfully and maliciously wounded a 41-year old Labourer of the same address, by stabbing him about his body with a knife. The incident occurred at Villa about 10:15am on 21st December 2018.
Richards appeared before the Kingstown Magistrate Court and pleaded not guilty to the charge. He was granted bail in the sum of $2000.00ECC with one surety.
He was ordered to reappear before the Calliaqua Magistrate Court on February, 18th 2019 for trial.
- Police have also arrested and charged Ommawhaleobutta Cupid, a 39-year old Labourer of Green Hill with the offence of Wounding.
According to investigations, the accused allegedly unlawfully and maliciously wounded a 20-year old Labourer of the same address by stabbing him on the left side of his belly with a cutlass. The incident occurred in Green Hill about 6:20pm on 29th September 2018.
Cupid is expected to appear before the serious offences court.
- Meanwhile, Police have arrested and charged Rolando Cato, a 19-year old student of Glen, with the offence of Wounding.
According to investigations, Cato allegedly unlawfully and maliciously wounded a 17-year old unemployed of Glen by stabbing him about his body with an unknown object. The incident occurred at Glen about 2:30pm on 19 December 2018.
Cato appeared before the Calliaqua Magistrate Court and was granted bail in the sum of $3000.00ECC with one surety.
