Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a motor vehicle accident that occurred in Cedars about 4:47pm on Thursday evening.
Preliminary investigations revealed that PW583, a silver Toyota Corolla, owned and driven by Calvert Adams was driving from Kingstown toward Georgetown when the vehicle struck the right side of the road which caused the driver to lose control of the motor vehicle.
The 65-year old man then ran into a meter pole in the vicinity of the Ollivierre Mini-Mart, causing the vehicle to go over an embankment.
Adams received minor injuries as a result of the accident. The motor vehicle was extensively damaged.
