A man who was part of law enforcement here and who was wanted on several sexual offense charges since 2013 when he skipped the country is now behind bars on remand after the US authorities handed him over to the police here.
The matter is in the Family Court and details of the man’s offenses cannot by law be reported, but the crimes are said to have taken place between 2009 and 2013.
The man was not allowed to plea when he appeared in court and will be back on December 1st when the preliminary inquiry is expected to commence.
