A man who is a suspect in several matters including the robbery at the Lions Club Lotto Booth was shot and killed by police on Tuesday afternoon.

At about 3.45pm on Tuesday 17th April, 2018 members of the police force were on mobile patrol in the Gibson Corner area when Mr Ronique Chewitt Aka War Teacher was seen walking along the said public road acting in a suspicious manner.

According to reports police on patrol alighted their vehicle and approached him,  he ran into nearby bushes then drew a firearm, and pointed it, at the police.

News784 was further told that the police opened fire and he was shot in his chest and arm.

He was taken to the MCMH where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

A 45 firearm and 8 rounds of ammunition 2 portions of cocaine and a portion of cannabis were found on his person.
