Speakers of Houses of Assembly, prominent Parliamentarians and experts from across the region will convene here on Monday, October 14th, 2019 for a regional parliamentary workshop.
The one day workshop will focus on promoting the implementation of International Biological Security Frameworks. It is being held in conjunction with Global Affairs Canada and will also include relevant government ministry representatives.
During this workshop, they will identify and assess steps that Parliamentarians can take to promote Biological Security through the implementation of relevant international treaties and other frameworks.
The workshop is scheduled to begin at 9:30 am.
