Prospects for Argyle International Airport Looking Good

The Government of SVG appears to be moving swiftly ahead with plans to have commercial flights as quickly as possible for the Argyle International Airport.

The airport which is set to open on February  14th, 2017, will see Sunwing and Caribbean Airlines making their inaugural flights via charter, News784 was first to break those stories.

According to a reliable source another airline is looking to engage the Government on doing weekly flights to AIA, once per week at first from JFK.

The source further told New784 that the Airline operates daily schedules from JFK  onwards to Venezuela and Guyana.

The meeting to broker a deal should take place by Midweek in Kingstown with representatives from the airline and Government officials according to the source.

The airline which is US Certified operates Boeing 767-200ERs and Boeing 767-300ERs and has a fleet of 6, from information, obtained.
