- PSU calls off Industrial Action at Argyle International Airport, SVG
On April 10th, 2024, the SVG Public Service Union met with the management of Argyle International Airport Inc. to discuss the outstanding retroactive payments owed to workers for the period 2020–2022.
We are pleased to report that AIA Inc. and the SVG Public Service Union have reached an amicable settlement agreement.
The Union would like to thank Mr. Godfred Pompey, Chairman of the Board, and the members of the management team for exercising good industrial relations practices.
We would also like to thank the hard-working employees and members of AIA Inc. for their patience and commitment. They were instrumental in helping us arrive at this settlement.
This has led to the cancellation of the scheduled industrial action for Monday, April 15, 2024.
