The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Public Service Union in a media release say they stand in solidarity with the workers at the Buccament Bay Resort as they continue to struggle for what is rightly theirs – their hard earned pay which they have not received for several months.
The SVGPSU is very concerned that this situation has been allowed to reach this stage the release further stated.
The PSU is calling on the management of the Buccament Bay Resort to immediately settle all outstanding payment owed to the workers and call on the relevant government authorities to make an intervention.
The PSU in their release says they share the pain, and anguish of the workers and their families at this difficult period of struggle: “The Cause of One is the Cause of All”.
