Questions to be Asked by Those Who Claim to be Christians!

At Luke 4:43, Jesus stated, “I must preach the Kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.

” I should ask myself: “Am I as a Christian following Jesus’ example?” 1 Peter 2:21.

 Jesus’ early followers did so. Luke 8:1; Acts5:42; Acts 20:20; Acts 28:23,31. In his prophecy about the Last Days, Jesus said, as recorded in Matthew 24:14, “And this gospel of the kingdom SHALL be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

” Ask: “Am I as a Christian, having a part in fulfilling Jesus’ words at Matthew 24:14?

Do I view preaching the gospel of the Kingdom as necessary as the apostle Paul was inspired to write at 1 Corinthians 9:16?

Finally, we may ask ourselves, “Am I obedient to Jesus Christ in carrying out the commission he gave true Christians to do?” Matthew 28:19, 20; Acts 1:8.
