RedRootSVG Inc. Launches Island-Wide Human Rights Campaign Across Communities.
RedRootSVG Inc is proud to announce the launch of its Community Human Rights Workshop Series. An island-wide initiative designed to educate, empower, and engage citizens on their fundamental human rights and responsibilities on advancing and protecting human rights. This campaign will run for a period of 10 months (from July 2026 to May 2027), in different communities across Saint Vincent.

- Georgetown — 21st November
- Barrouallie — 19th December
- Chateaubelair — 23rd January
- Paul’s Avenue — 20th February
- Fancy — 27th March
- Largo Heights — 24th April
- North Union — 22nd May
This series of events will provide a platform for education, advocacy, and community empowerment, ensuring that the principles of human rights are upheld and promoted throughout the nation. Recent incidents of violence have highlighted the importance of protecting the safety, dignity and fundamental rights of individuals within our communities. We have also noted that many people lack information about their basic human rights and are therefore not always aware of the protections available to them or what steps they can take when their rights are violated. Through this campaign, RedRootSVG Inc. aims to help close this information gap by educating communities about their rights and empowering individuals to recognize, protect and advocate for themselves and others.
