The South Coast Marine Conservation Area (SCMCA) Reef Guardian School Pilot Program of St. Vincent and the Grenadines are currently underway.

A mini project took place at the Calliaqua Anglican School under the theme “Be the solution to water pollution”.

The program is being implemented by the National Parks, Rivers and Beaches Authority in collaboration with the Fisheries Division and Forestry Department.

The Calliaqua Anglican School is one of the two selected schools participating in the Reef Guardian School Pilot program.

The main purpose of the mini project was to promote public awareness on the reduction of pollution to minimize the negative impact on the coral reef.

A March and Clean-Up was held on Friday 2nd March 2018
