Following the emerging of photographs on local media of which has been described as unfavorable living conditions at the Central Police Station in Kingstown, gov’t has given the assurance that remedial works would be done to correct such.
Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves on Wednesday, September 18, 2019, said he is giving enforcement officers at the Kingstown police station and the Old Montrose facility that works would be done this year, while substantive work would be done next year.
Gonsalves said the work which will be executed this year has already been planned.
