Rev. Stephen Ollivierre, Pastor of Faith Temple, New Montrose has been appointed as District Presiding Bishop of the PAWI SVG District.
Rev. Stephen Ollivierre replaces Bishop Sonny Williams, who resigned the position after serving for 16 years, consequent upon his election as General Bishop of the Denomination at its 37th Biennial Conference, held in Tobago from 28th May – 1st June of this year.
Rev. Ollivierre, who has been in active pastoral ministry for approximately 30 years also served as Assistant Presiding Bishop of the SVG District of PAWI for the past 14 years. He will assume his new role as Presiding Bishop on 1st September 2018.
Resulting from this appointment, Rev. Elroy Martin has been appointed to serve as Assistant Presiding Bishop. The other members of the PAWI SVG District include:
