Adrian Marian, a Romanian national living in the UK, has appeared in court in St. Vincent today on drug charges.
Marian was arrested at AIA on September 18, 2026.
He was charged with possession of 6,660 grams of cocaine with intent to supply, possession of 6,660 grams of cocaine for purpose of drug trafficking and attempting to export 6,660 grams of cocaine.
He appeared before Serious Offences Court on Monday and pleaded not guilty to each charge. Prosecution objected to bail on grounds he is a non-national and it is feared if granted bail he would abscond.
Chief Magistrate denied bail. The matter was adjourned to October 5, 2026. Defendant was not represented by legal counsel.
