The Crime Prevention Unit (CPU) of the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVPF), in an effort to enlighten the general public on crime prevention tips, will be holding its annual Christmas Crime Prevention Exhibition on Friday December 11, 2020 outside the Central Police Station from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The event is being held under the theme; Securing citizens and visitors through innovative policing.”
According to Corporal Syon Shoy of the CPU, the objective of the exhibition is to sensitize the general public about the prevalent crimes that are associated with this time of the year. It also endeavours to outline ways and means in which citizens can reduce, secure and protect themselves from incidents of crime.
In light of the challenges posed by the Covid-19 Pandemic, the exhibition would be done to promote crime prevention awareness in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The CPU advises that all persons participating in the exhibition adhere to the Covid-19 guidelines stipulated by the Ministry of Health Wellness and the Environment.
