Police arrested and charged Andrew Toussaint, 56-year-old Sanitation Worker of Campden Park, for assaulting a 60-year-old Labourer also of Campden Park.
Police investigations revealed that Andrew Toussaint struck the 60-year-old labourer on the right side of his shoulder and the right side of his face with a shovel, causing actual bodily harm.
The incident occurred on 28th September 2018 about 6:45 pm at Halifax Street Kingstown.
Andrew is expected to appear before the Kingstown Magistrate Court today to answer to the charge.
