Minister of Education Hon. St.Clair Prince while speaking on the “Issue at Hand” program airing on WEFM, discussed several topics concerning schools including their possible timeline for the reopening.
“The Officials in the Ministry of Education along with the experts in the Ministry of Health set up a kind of tentative preliminary timeline, we’re thinking, maybe if we open soon, maybe the 18th of this month or the 25th somewhere thereabout, preferably the 18th. We might be ready to open schools at that time”
The Minister went on to say that the Ministry of Education is working along with the Ministry of Health and BRAGSA to assess various schools in the country to ensure that they are equipped with the necessary facilities that would make them safe and sanitary environments for both teachers and students.
